Musings on How Tech is Changing Our Stuff and Society

This sounds like a topic more appropriate for my husband's blog Faceborg. He's the tech genius but I'm a geek, too. :)

We've all read about how the Internet is changing society and that seems to be the base of much of our innovative technology these days. It's all about the latest social media craze or app for your mobile device, right? But there are other changes happening that we are seeing but maybe not looking at where they might lead.

Occupy Gratitude


On the last live episode of Q for 2011 they were discussing the idea that having an 'attitude of gratitude' is good for your health. It always seems that Thanksgiving and Christmas are the times of year when we think about what we are thankful for. Most people would agree that we should focus on this more during the whole year, and yet most of us do not.

Yoga and Scuba: Just Breathe


If you happen to be a Yogi and a diver, you'll know what I mean. Both activities focus greatly on breath. The first rule of scuba is never stop breathing. During a yoga class you are always asked to centre on your breathing.
