A to Z 2013: Friends

For the month of April I will be blogging alphabetically with the theme of Winnipeg versus Davao City. Not to prove a winner but simply to explore the differences and similarities between my home town and my current location.

F is for Friends!

I love these people!

Yeah, ok this might sound cheesy... But it's kind of a big deal. We're trying to maintain good relationships with people back home while building new ones here. We have a great community here but we really miss our friends and family in Winnipeg, too. I'll go lite on text today. Here are some shots of good times with awesome people...

Christmas in Davao with fellow Winnipeggers.

My cousins visiting us in Winnipeg from Australia.

Our introduction to videoke in the Philippines.

Enjoying rambutan samples with our kiwi mate.

Hanging out at the zoo in Winnipeg with a fantastic family.

Sa banka!

A boatload of friends heading out for a day at the beach.

My mom and step-dad came to Davao for a visit!

Teaching the brother-in-law about cameras while my dad watches.

One last BBQ with the in-laws by the lake before we left.

Hugs!!! Miss you so much!

  1. Friends really matter actually. When I first moved to Singapore I cried some nights because I missed my friends back in the philippines. Luckily I made lots of new friends here. Glad you found some there too. :)
