Blogging from A to Z: V

V!
The Pope in Vatican City ~ Photo by Bonnie Falk

Wine of the day: Viognier (French, white, crisp and floral)

Cheese of the day: Valençay (French, raw, goat {I have NOT tried this})

Fruit of the day: Vanilla (It's a fruit!)

Movie of the day: "V for Vendetta" (Not just for the fifth of November!)

Album of the day: "Le Volume du Vent" by Karkwa (Polaris Prize winning band from Quebec. I saw these guys live last fall and they were awesome!)

Book of the day: "Vanished" by Joseph Finder (One of my all-time favourite authors! This the first in his attempt to write a series. All his novels have been great. They are intelligent thrillers of corporate or international espionage!)

Country of the day: Vatican City (Smallest country in the world! {By area; 3rd smallest by population.} It has its own postal system and is the one of the few countries NOT part of the UN, but the Pope has an honourary seat. Probably has the most fine art treasures per capita on the planet.)
"No Foto" Oops! Illegal shot of the Sistine Chapel ~ Photo by some random person...
