Blogging from A to Z: W

W!
This is a pun ~ Photos by Bonnie Falk

Wine of the day: Wildbacher (Austrian, red {I have NOT tried this})

Cheese of the day: Wensleydale (British, rather sharp, often contains fruit bits)

Fruit of the day: Wolfberry (AKA Goji)

Movie of the day: "Wasabi" (I haven't seen this but my hubby says it's fun. Jean Reno + Luc Besson? Done!)

Album of the day: "Wait For Me" by Moby (Moby is pretty awesome. Yeah, he makes good music, but he actually lives his life according to his strong convictions. He's good role model in many ways. Work hard, follow your dreams and do good.)

Book of the day: "The Wind in the Willows" by Kenneth Grahame (Classic Children's lit.)

Country of the day: Wales* (*It is not technically a sovereign state but it is considered to be it's own country within the United Kingdom. But hey, it's the closest thing that starts with 'w'. And they have a cool accent. {Now do you get the pun?})

{More whales. I took this really lame video at the Vancouver Aquarium last summer}

  2. Wind in the Willows made people 'befuddled' when it came out, nobody had seen a novel about talking animals that wasn't an allegory or trying to teach some lesson. It was just animals. And they talked, and drove motorcars.
